1. Account and community use

By creating an account, you agree to use Chatter by Chapter as a reading-centered community. You are responsible for the content you post, including comments, book submissions, images, links, annotations, reactions, and profile information.

2. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant Chatter by Chapter a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, modify for formatting, distribute, promote, analyze, and otherwise use that content to operate, improve, monetize, and market the platform.

3. Data and monetization

You acknowledge that Chatter by Chapter may collect, analyze, aggregate, license, sell, or otherwise monetize platform information, including reading activity, preferences, trends, engagement, book interactions, and non-publicly identifying analytics, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

4. Spoilers and safety

Chatter by Chapter is designed around spoiler-safe discussion. You agree not to intentionally bypass spoiler controls, harass other readers, impersonate others, spam, upload malicious files, or post illegal or abusive content.

5. Moderation

We may remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, or restrict features when needed to protect the platform, readers, authors, partners, or the broader community.

6. Changes

These terms may change as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
